She's brought the laughs every weekend since 2005, but Kristen Wiig has decided that it's time to move on from her spot on "Saturday Night Live".

The 38-year-old comedic actress was doted with a much-deserved farewell at the end of the the NBC sketch comedy show's 37th season finale last night (May 19).

During the sendoff segment, the episode's host, rocker Mick Jagger, assumed the role of a principal at a high school graduation, saying, "Many of you are moving onto college, but I'd like to take a moment to say goodbye to one particular student who is leaving this summer… to become a nun."

With Miss Wiig clad in a cap and gown, the seven-year SNL vet was called on to share a dance with Mick before taking turns with co-stars and executive producer Lorne Michael with the Rolling Stones hit "She's a Rainbow" playing in the background.

The departure comes as Kristen is most likely headed to a career in movies, as she's fresh off of great success as a co-producer/actress in the hit film "Bridesmaids".
